Association of International Educators is a member organization promoting international education and providing professional development opportunities to the field. Hundreds of NAFSA members volunteer to serve the Association and advocate for international education.
The World Association for Online Education (WAOE) is a nonprofit public benefit corporation registered in 1998, and in continuous operation since then. It is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes.
The specific purposes for which WAOE is organized are to develop, support, and evaluate computer-assisted online education as a professional discipline, based upon sound pedagogical principles and humanistic ethics, and the voluntary efforts of educators so involved throughout the world.
*Britannia International College Career Development Diplomas are accredited through EDI at Level 4, equated on the British National Framework at the same study level as HND and National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 4. Level 4 is for professional development and recognized specialist learning and involves analysis of a high level of information and knowledge in an are of work study. Learning at this level is appropriate for people working in technical and professional jobs, and/or managing and developing others.
*Britannica International College's Higher Programmes, including Honours (Advanced) Diploams and BA – Business Administration – Progrmammes are accredited by EDI at Level 5, equated on the British National Framework as the same study level as NVQ 5. Level 5 qualifications recognize the ability to increase the depth of knowledge and understanding of an area of work or study to enable the formulation of solutions and responses to complex problems and situations. Learning at this level involves that demonstration of high levels of knowledge, work expertise in job roles and competence in managing and training others.
*EDI verifies Endorsed Qualifications, providing external certification by an accredited awarding body. Edi (formerly ASET) is a British Awarding Body for the Department of Education, Universities and Skills (Ministry of Education) and Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and is accredited and regulated by the QCA to provide awards to the British National Qualifications Framework. BIC is approved to deliver Awards and meets quality assurance, content, structure and assessment standards for provision of vocational learning programmes, and is recognized for high quality training and learning provision.
